Partnership Signing Ceremony in Hangzhou
On May 18, Hong Kong Beacon International Education and Hangzhou Xizi Experimental School signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou. In this era of deepening globalization, cultivating new talents with international vision and competitiveness has become a key focus of educational development. It is now officially announced that Hong Kong Beacon International Education and Xizi Experimental School will engage in in-depth cooperation on HKDSE-related programme offering, jointly starting a new chapter in international education.
As the Hong Kong’s largest private education group, Beacon has been established for 35 years, educating over 1 million students and guiding them toward the bright future. Over the past ten years, 70% of top HKDSE performers studied at Beacon, including top scorers for 12 consecutive years.
Xizi Experimental School will become a member of Beacon’s BEAlliance school, providing students with an international learning environment. Following the formal signing of the agreement, Beacon’s database will expand beyond Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Dongguan to include data from students in the Hangzhou area. This will promote continuous optimization of teaching research and refinement of educational systems, along with sharing of teaching resources.
The curriculum will integrate the strengths of both schools, combining the educational foundations of Mainland China and Hong Kong to offer broader and more diverse choices for students, meeting the needs of students and parents pursuing different academic paths. Both parties are committed to advancing in-depth cooperation on HKDSE through innovative initiatives like “personalized learning plans” and “diverse elective courses,” fully exploring and nurturing students’ personal strength and potential, and promoting their holistic development. HKDSE will also serve as a bridge for more students to access opportunities around the globe.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in Hong Kong Beacon International Education’s pursuit of internationalization, further expanding the presence of HKDSE in Mainland China. By partnering with Xizi Experimental School, Beacon aims to blend the essence of Chinese and Western education, offering more diversified international courses and pathways for students in the Hangzhou region.
