On October 30, Hong Kong Beacon International Education officially signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Foshan Zhongshan Whampoa Star-Raise School for Hong Kong and Macao Students. Previously, the school had visited Beacon’s campus in Hong Kong for exchange. During their meeting, the two parties had in-depth discussions on educational philosophies, curriculum design, and future directions for cooperation. The preliminary agreement signed at Beacon’s Hong Kong campus laid the foundation for further collaboration.
Foshan Zhongshan Whampoa Star-Raise School is the first partner school for Hong Kong and Macao students within Beacon’s network in Mainland China, marking a significant milestone for Beacon’s BEAlliance School Partnership Scheme. Dr. June Leung Ho-ki, co-founder of Beacon, emphasized that the collaboration came together quickly because both parties share the same deep passion for education, enabling a seamless partnership.
We firmly believe that with the addition of Foshan Zhongshan Whampoa Star-Raise School as a partner, Beacon’s database — already equipped with those from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Hangzhou, and Guizhou — will now include data from students in Foshan. This expansion will drive continuous optimization in education research and the refinement of our educational system. In the future, Beacon’s partner school network will grow even stronger, enabling closer support and collaboration among our own network of schools. By sharing educational resources, we aim to provide every student with more accurate and professional benchmarking data, helping them shine on their HKDSE journey.
